A shiny new year is upon us (hooray!) and as we settled back into the Love Campers office we spent the month of January reflecting on our business goals and strategy.
While the last few years have had their fair share of challenges and tribulations, they’ve also been a fantastic opportunity to hone our brand identity and, of course, polish up our campervan building skills even further in the workshop. We got the chance to drill down further into our core values and plan some exciting projects for the year ahead.
At Love Campers we’re a thoughtful bunch and you’ll find our musings on the pandemic years in last year’s blog post Three things we learnt from the pandemic.
Now it’s time to look ahead and get excited about a busy year of campervan adventures!
Our New Year Business Resolutions
Here are some of our Business Resolutions that we decided on together. We are so happy to share them with you, and we hope they give you a taste of what’s most important to us as a business.
1. Grow as a sustainable business
From the very inception of our business, five years ago, sustainability has been hugely important to us. You can find out more about our current green credentials on our website. However, we know that being a green business requires constant attention and development. In 2022 we want to work on more electric campervans than ever before. We’re in the process of planning a carbon offset plan that will work in an impactful way. Watch this space!
2. Refine our designs and add more to our portfolio
At Love Campers, we’re very proud of how far our already highly skilled craftspeople have developed. We are always improving our work to make your campervans more beautiful and functional. This year we’ll be adding some new van designs to the mix as well as taking inspiration from current trends in the vanlife world. We’ll be selling special and unique vans as immediate purchase campervans for sale, so make sure you sign up to our newsletter so you get to hear about them as soon as they’re available!
3. Grow our team!
In 2022 we’re hoping to expand our workforce even further. We’re delighted to have recently welcomed a new Administrative Officer to our team and we’ve built a brand spanking new mezzanine office in our workshop. A new year with fewer restrictions due to the pandemic means we’ll be able to have more face-to-face meetings and meet more customers than ever before. Keep an eye on our Facebook and Instagram pages where we’ll be announcing new vacancies as they become available.
4. Meet more people!
Following on from the above resolution – we’re ready for post pandemic interactions and we can’t wait to meet you! Whether this be on our travels or at events, conferences and festivals, we’ll be taking our Love Campers fleet with us and showing off our conversions. One of the main reasons we set up this company is to do with how much we adore the camper community. If you’re interested in meeting like-minded van enthusiasts come along to Camp Quirky in May where you’ll get to see tonnes of unique campervans. Don’t own a campervan yet? No worries! It’s the perfect place to explore your new van passions and become part of the movement!
5. Celebrate diversity in the van life community
This year we want to continue to celebrate diversity in the van life community. We are actively looking to promote inclusivity of all kinds, both within our company and our services. We will provide a platform to share van life tales from our customers and other van owners, so get in touch if you have an inspiring story to tell. Our most recent guest post came from surfer Spike Kane who uses his campervan to travel the world and attend adaptive surf championships.
We’d love to hear from you. We will continue to build accessible campers so if you’re wondering whether van life might be for you, we urge you to get in touch with us to see how we can help.
That’s it for now, but we’re sure they’ll be all sorts of further developments and ideas as the year unfolds. As we head into 2022 we hope you’ll join us in hoping for a happier year ahead, one where we can follow our dreams and take part in plenty of outdoor adventures!
