How we work with you
No matter where you’re based we’ll be able to work with you. If you’re near to Brighton East Sussex, we welcome in-person visits to view the vans at our workshop. To limit numbers we kindly ask that you get in touch beforehand so we can organise a suitable time. If you are further afield we can organise a virtual meeting and a video tour of our vans and workshop.
If you opt for our ‘build to order’ service, there’ll be lots of decisions to be made about things like flooring, upholstery, and other interior design elements. This is the fun part where you’ll be able to put your stamp on the look of your personalised van! We’ll send over everything you need to make an informed decision by giving you access to our members area where you can browse all the interior design options for your campervan.
Get in touch if you’d like to browse our Members Area in advance.
Don’t live near Brighton? No problem
At Love Campers, we often recommend combining a trip to our workshop with a short holiday in Brighton or the countryside around East Sussex. You could either do this if you visit us in person, or when you pick up your completed van conversion. (Or both!)
Brighton is a lively seafront town, surrounded by stunning rolling British countryside including the South Downs National Park and more. The city itself is full of hustle and bustle, boutique shops, friendly cafes and delicious restaurants, as well as plenty of pubs bursting with British character.
There’s also the Brighton Pavilion, the fun-packed pier and the Brighton i360 to check out if you feel like soaking up the sights of Brighton.
Our workshop location in Newhaven is also well placed for visiting the historic town of Lewes or the coastal cliff walks at Seven Sisters. The charming Arundel Castle and Gardens are also worth visiting in nearby West Sussex.
Places to stay in Brighton
If you’re planning to stay in Brighton there are many wonderful Air BnBs or independent hotels we could recommend.
The Southern Belle is one of our favourite local pubs in Brighton, which has beautiful rooms that are available to book. We’d also recommend the LGBTQ+ friendly New Steine Hotel which has colourful and comfortable rooms at a very reasonable price. If you want to stay somewhere extra special and luxurious there’s the Square Townhouse, which prides itself on its sustainability efforts. All of these places are located just a stone’s throw away from the beach.
If you’re picking up your completed campervan from us you could drive straight to East Brighton Park Campsite where you’ll have beautiful views of the sea and city of Brighton. If you’re after somewhere a bit further out and you’d like to park up in the Sussex countryside, try heading to Chalky Downs Campsite where you’ll be able to enjoy beautiful sunrises and sunsets over the rolling hills.
If you’ve got a family we’d really recommend WoWo campsite which offers activities and workshops for kids. We did our last photo shoot there and had a wonderful day!
Accessible and inclusive Brighton
Known for its lively culture and inclusivity in regards to LGTBQ+ people, Brighton has long been one of England’s most gay-friendly, inclusive and accessible holiday destinations. Comedian Rosie Jones recently featured Brighton as a fantastic UK holiday destination choice, in her TV series ‘Mission Accessible’.
